Hillsville is a place where values of common
sense and hard work, like replacing our own
wood
stove pipe or kerosene
heater wick, from the Appalachian
people have been passed down since the beginning
of time. Our tiny town is situated in Carroll County atop the
majestic Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Folks
float down the rivers, climb the skyward mountains, farm the
land, and cherish the history that brought us all here.
Throughout Hillsville there are unique discoveries
to be made and adventures to be had. There are not-to-miss businesses
like Red Hill General Store
as well as neat little pieces of history tucked into every corner
like the civil war cemeteries and ghost stories passed down
from father to son. Hillsville is more than a place to visit.
For roughly 2,600 people it is a place to call
home.
Hillsville, VA is located in Carroll County,
