and RV sites, full hookups, rental cabin, rental renovated farmhouse,
and bath house all on the banks of the New River.
Activities include biking, hiking, or horseback
riding nearby trails, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, visiting
the many local antique and crafts shops, galleries, and museums.
Only a few miles from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, go for
a leisurely drive, take a picnic lunch, and enjoy some of the
most spectacular scenery and views to be found anywhere.
Of course, there's always the serenity of the campground to come
back to and just relax and watch the river pass by.

Directions: Take U.S. 58 to the
west side of Galax. At the flashing caution light, exit on to
Greenville Rd., which is the same exit as public boat landing.
Approx. 1 1/4 miles, turn right on Waterwheel Rd, same as public
boat landing. Again, approx. 1 1/4 miles turn left on Patton Mill
Rd., same as public boat landing and follow 1 mile to Sarasota
Lane entrance on left. Follow to campground.
